The Faraway Paladin Season 3: Release Date, Plot, Trailer, and More Updates!

Fans eagerly await the next chapter in this epic anime as we look towards a battle for the ages and the continuation of our hero’s journey. Here’s everything we know about the anticipated season 3 of The Faraway Paladin.

The Faraway Paladin

Where we left off The Faraway Paladin

After two spectacular seasons, it is no secret that fans want more of The Faraway Paladin and its amazing world and storyline. The first season was released in 2021 and its follow-up second season was released in 2023. So fans, speculate that a season 3 will follow suit following the same time pattern, possibly, in 2025. But regardless of its eventual release date, let us see where we left off.

The Faraway Paladin follows, Will, who wakes up in a new world facing a skeleton, a ghost, and a mummy in a city of ruins. However, rather than fighting these ghouls, the three unlikely heroes teach him to fight and use magic, the ins and outs of religion, and responsibility. As Will grows up he continues to live by an oath sworn to God. As he departs, he must accept the truths of his undead guardians and find a way to fulfill this oath in one way or another.

The last episode of season 2, sees Will, and his party resting in the city of the dead. Here, we find Gus warning Will about how dangerous Valacirca is and tells him that his decision to turn back would be understandable. But Will is steadfast in his approach and carries on with Gus’s words of advice. The ending of season 2, opens up a lot of questions regarding what we can expect in upcoming seasons.

With Will in the City of the Dead, we can expect a great deal of character development in our main character and his entire party. Whether it’s how they tackle the city of the dead and everything it has to offer, or whether the city of the dead is just another pitstop in their journey to greatness. It will also be interesting to see how this adventure into the City of the Dead affects the party once they get through it. Given, the show’s reliance on religious symbolism and religious dogma it will be great to see how this affects Will in Particular throughout the next season of The Faraway Paladin.

The show has a very tried and true method that combines two beloved anime tropes i.e., the ‘I was raised by something that was not human’ trope like Natsu in Fairytail, and the ‘I am conflicted by my upbringing but I still have a thirst for adventure’ trope like Tower of Druaga or The Time I Got Reincarnated as Slime.

New teasers of The Faraway Paladin Season 3

While we don’t have any official release trailer for the next season of The Faraway Paladin, we have been given clips of various moments in the show courtesy of Crunchyroll. Whether this is just a teaser or a snippet of what we can expect for season 3 is yet to be deciphered but given that the latest video was posted 5 months ago, we can be certain that studios know that The Faraway Paladin is definitely on the public consciousness.

Release Date ?

The Faraway Paladin

As mentioned earlier, the release date for the next season of The Farewell Paladin is still uncertain. Whether the season will follow its 2-year gap like the gap between season 1 and season 2 is yet to be understood. More often than not, there is a high possibility that it will maintain its 2-year gap but with no word yet from the creators or the studio, we can see why fans of The Farewell Paladin are worried. Only time will tell when we will see our band of heroes next, but we know that the next time we do, it’s going to be in the land of the Dead.
